Remyky22 , Oct 22, Does anyone have the code to download the hidden track Mirror? I think it only comes on the physical CD inlay Remyky22 , Oct 28, I listened to this album for the first time last night. It's jawdroppingly awesome. I loved his last album, but first impressions are that this new record is even better. It sounds cinematic, epic and poppy all at the same time. I see he's playing in London in February December's show is sold out - I need to be there!
Digital Ghost , Nov 1, So it turns out this is actually fucking beautiful and one of Antony's best albums. I don't know what was wrong with me during the initial listen. It's a sprawling, jaw-dropping masterpiece. RJF , Dec 29, My opinions on the album are still muddled after all of this time with it. It's beautiful in some places, but drones on in others. I find it's great to put on the stereo or something and let it play out loud in the background during the day, but whenever I try and devote myself to it with headphones and really listen to it, I get bored and lose focus.
DarkSacoura , Dec 29, The words 'John Hughes' are often thrown up during reviews but that vibe A real treat. ManilaChinchilla , Dec 29, Why is Midnight City suddenly top 40 nearly top 30 on itunes? Apart from the fact its amazing. Puctoi , Jan 12, Oh my God. I only got the chance to rip my copy of the CD today; I had the leak in my iTunes until then.
I have now discovered that I did not in fact have the full version of "Outro". Having listened to it in full for the first time, I am obliterated. That said, I kind of liked how it abruptly cut out on the leak. It played into the concept of the album being based on a dream. Having the last song suddenly end, like you're being shaken from a dream, was just a little bit perfect as well.
That said, I'm more than happy to discover the full version. This album is brilliant. I'm so ashamed of myself for writing it off initially.
