That was just after the year pay off was settled. Klein continued inventing new candies for years, but none found the success of Jelly Belly. In Klein started a Kickstarter campaign to get his comeback off the ground with Jelly Beans that mimick the tastes of gourmet coffees. But those are not on his current website.
The company operates from a factory in California. They produce Sandy Candy as well as other new confections out of their factory in Largo, Florida.

On May 31, shortly after George Floyd was killed by a Minneapolis police officer, sparking months of protests, he pushed for people to pull out their tie-dye clothes as a stand against racism. As I filled it, I would look at the wrapper to see where they came from… I became an expert in candy…in Junior High if anyone wanted to know where their candy came from, I could tell them. I knew about liquor, too. I knew what a fifth of whiskey meant. Hardly anyone else did. Hardly anyone knows today. Later, I went into the candy and nut business.
At first, I just focused on walnuts… and brought in millions after only three months. One and a half years later, I came up with the idea for Jelly Belly. Instead of just having the flavor in the shell, my idea was to infuse the entire bean with new and unusual flavors.
